Hi, I’m Alex, the creator and founder of Mallorca Under the Sun, the resource to help you plan your Mallorca holiday, or assist in making the life-changing decision to move to the island.
Mallorca has been my home since 2005 when I moved here to work in a PR role for consumer brands Hotelopia and easyJetHotels (part of Hotelbeds, an international bed bank business).
I created the Mallorca Under the Sun Youtube channel at the end of July 2020 as a result of being furloughed from my then role as UK & Ireland Marketing Manager for Hotelbeds / Bedsonline.
This came as a blessing in disguise, giving me time to grow personally, develop new skills, improve my mindset, and bring together years of working in marketing and PR, and freelance journalism writing for airline magazines, to create a brand I’m passionate about.
I have worked in the travel industry for almost 20 years. With this experience and time spent on the island, I will share my knowledge to help you plan your holiday or move to the island.
With over 20,000 YouTube subscribers and over 13,000 Facebook group members, the absolute highlight of starting Mallorca Under the Sun has been bringing together an amazing community of people who share a love for the island.
