Don’t forget Spain has its own Christmas meal traditions so finding a traditional Christmas lunch (roast turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding), isn’t easy in Mallorca.
However, with the increase of expats living on the island, a small selection of restaurants and catering companies have decided to open to provide a traditional Christmas meal.
And while many restaurants offer a Christmas meal on the run-up to Christmas, most restaurants doing this will close before Christmas Day.
You will also find Origin in Palmanova has festive dining domes for the ultimate Christmas party, but again, this does not include Christmas Day dining.
Word of warning: Finding Christmas lunch on Christmas Day itself in Mallorca is not cheap. Opening on Christmas Day comes at a price to incorporate staffing costs.
Also if you are reading this article after Christmas in 2023 and are planning your holiday for 2024, just bear in mind that the same restaurants may or may not be opening. So check nearer the time.

From what I have seen, the restaurants that will open for Christmas will be offering a set menu and you may be asked for payment in advance.
Also, Christmas lunch in Mallorca is a hot topic on social media, demand is high in the expat community and options are few and far between, so my advice is to book early to guarantee a table.
And if dining out on Christmas Day isn’t your thing, it is possible to get Christmas lunch delivered to your accommodation in Mallorca, and I have found a couple of companies who do this.
If you are out of luck finding a festive lunch, then I have seen many Indian, Chinese, Thai and Japanese restaurants open throughout the island this winter. Many of these will likely be also open on Christmas Day too.
These restaurants confirmed Christmas lunch in 2023, so you will get an idea of what’s on offer.
However, prices where quoted may well go up for 2024. As restaurants decide their menus for 2024, please refer back later for confirmation.

Where to get Christmas lunch in Mallorca
U Plaça, Pollensa
Enjoy Christmas Lunch in a fabulous old town location. Located on the town square, the U Plaça has announced it is taking bookings for Christmas Day lunch.

Liberty Kitchen, Puerto Pollensa
Liberty Kitchen in Puerto Pollensa will be hosting a fabulous Christmas Lunch and New Year’s Eve dinner.
I’ve seen the menu and it looks fabulous. With drinks on arrival, and including half a bottle of wine per person, choose from an amazing choice of starters, traditional roast turkey (there is also a fish or veggie option), plus the best choice of deserts. Find them on Facebook too. But book early.
Cost: 62,50€ pp adult and 25€ pp children.
Can Josep Ca Vostra, Puerto Pollensa
Possibly the best and the most varied and value-for-money menu I’ve seen for Christmas.
If you want to try a traditional Christmas lunch, then head to Can Josep Ca Vostra in Puerto Pollensa where the sea views come for free.
Starters include traditional Sopa de Navidad (meat-filled pasta in broth) with another five choices, while the mains feature pork, goat, turkey or seafood.
Three amazing courses, with homemade desert and half a bottle of wine.
Cost 49,50€
Market Kitchen, Palma
Located in the heart of Santa Catalina in Palma, enjoy a fantastic festive experience at Market Kitchen.
A 50% deposit is required for just one sitting on Christmas Day lunch from 14:00 to 19:00. Cost: 160€ pp.
Merchants, Palma
Merchants in Palma is open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Cost 150€ Pp. A bottomless drinks package is 25€ extra.
Harry’s Bistro Santa Ponsa
Great news! It’s just been announced that Harry’s Bistro in Santa Ponsa will be open on Christmas Day serving a traditional three-course lunch.
Cost 45€ pp, and please call to reserve. T. 871746068 after midday.
Restaurant Urbà, Palma
Open for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and located in the heart of Palma Old Town, Restaurant Urbà offers a fantastic menu with traditional suckling pig as a main option, to offer an adults-only (so age 16+) Christmas lunch.
Cost 95€ per person
Quina Creu, Palma
One of my all-time favourite restaurants in Palma has announced it will be open for the two most popular festive days in Spain, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Christmas Eve is more widely celebrated in Spain and Quina Creu will have a festive 3-course menu (with roast pork and a veggie option for the main) for 75€pp.
Plus on New Year’s Eve, enjoy a 3-course menu with fish or steak as a main including cava for 115€ pp.
