If you’re looking to book a pre-Summer break to Palmanova and want to experience the most lively event of the season in the resort, then make sure your visit includes Europe Day in Palmanova.

Normally held in the second weekend of May, Europe Day is a free family fun day with entertainment.

There is a great market selling locally made products and handicrafts in an event which runs from 10am to 9pm.

Running along the Paseo del Mar from the marina, along Es Carregador beach up to the beginning of Palmanova beach, you will find market stalls, some great food, and a stage featuring singers and dancers from around the island.

Europe Day in 2022 also attracted the island’s Youtubers. I was having a day off from vlogging, but did bump into Andrew McVey from Loving Life Mallorca. You can see the video that he made about Europe Day in Palmanova here.

I also had a pleasure of finally meeting Steve from Steve and Anita in Mallorca, and you can see their video here.

A lovely couple running a market stall also recognised me behind my hat and sunglasses. Originally, from Portugal, they had just arrived to live on the island having spent 10 years in London.

They used my “Moving to Mallorca” videos to help them make the decision to move here.

Here are a few photos from the day.
