So in this video I'm going to bring you my top tips for being prepared and getting to the airport to help minimise those queues so you can get over to the island and start your holiday

So I'm really hoping that there's going to be some security in terms of knowing that you're going to be

to be getting away this summer. So if you are travelling to the airport my

first recommendation is do not get there too early because your early arrival is

going to impact queues at the airport and this is what's been happening at so many

airports around the UK. Now Ryanair is advising do not turn up any sooner than

three hours before the flight and many other holiday companies are advising the same

too. Now another piece of advice is to also when you're going through security

Make sure that you have separated out all your liquids to into that clear plastic bag

Because any delays at security are also due to not just the volume of traffic of the people going through airport security

but also because people are not separating out their liquids from their hand luggage

So make sure you do that so you are not delayed getting to your gate

And just keep an eye on your luggage all the way through security and aboard your flight

Okay, so my other piece of advice is to not take checking luggage at all

Now, I'm down here in Magaloo, so if you are travelling and you do need to pick up extra clothes

then they're shops like Teddy, for example, which is near the big Aldi supermarket

which sells T-shirts really cheaply and flip-flops too for just a euro or so

And of course, you're spoilt for choice at all the beach shops too

So if you do check in a suitcase include a few essential items in your carry luggage So maybe a pair of shorts a couple of t a dress swimwear and underwear

So if your checking bag doesn't make your flight, you won't lose out on valuable time by the pool as soon as you arrive at your hotel

Also, this will help when you arrive at the other side when you arrive in Palmer because any delays in baggage handling as well because we are understaffed at Parmar
