Palma de Mallorca SET ALIGHT at the Correfoc Celebrations
Find out how Palma de Mallorca was set alight at the Correfoc celebrations signalling the end of Palma's month-long Sant Sebastian celebrations to commemorate the city's patron saint. This is the first Correfoc (or fire run) to be held in the city in January since 2019 and it was the best yet. With thousands joining the show, many danced underneath the sparks of the firebreathing demonis (demons). This would be a health and safety hazard for many countries, but not in Palma. We know how to party, and the Correfoc sets the city alight in a blaze of fire, light and fireworks. If you are experiencing a boring January, then visit Palma de Mallorca next year in January.
