MALLORCA NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Mosquito Update, Alcudia

In this Mallorca News Exclusive, I'll give you a mosquito update from Alcudia (Majorca). You may remember I made a video at the end of the Summer season in 2022 about the mosquito problem in the North East of Mallorca following unseasonally high temperatures running into the end of October and into November. This led to a mosquito outbreak like we'd never experienced on the island before. Following comments on my social media and messages I had received, I ventured to Alcudia to get an update about Alcudia's mosquito control plan for the Summer 2023, and what the council intend to do to combat the rise in mosquito numbers. I just want to say a huge thank you to the lovely Tomás Adrover, the Environmental Councillor from Alcudia Council who took me on a complete guided tour around the Albufera Natural Park and Alcudia beach resort and wetlands to show me Alcudia's mosquito control plan for the Summer 2023. I'll explain the rise over the years of mosquitos in this area, and how the council will be combatting mosquitos for this summer ahead. I give you a mosquito update from Alcudia Beach resort but also look at mosquitos in Club Mac, Alcudia and also mosquitos in Bellvue, Alcudia.
