Find out the best way to go Dolphin Watching in Mallorca (Majorca), Spain filmed this summer off the coast of Cala D’Or in August 2021. This is literally one of the best things to do for families in Mallorca, the best Cala d'Or excursion and the best way of seeing dolphins in the wild in Mallorca as well as being one of the top things to do when on holiday on the island. The dolphins were extremely difficult to film! Don’t forget your swimwear! We picked up the boat at Cala Egos in Cala D’Or, but you can pick it up at nine locations along the coast from Puertopetro to Puertocolum. The catarmaran then powered out to the ocean where we could see the dolphins in their natural habitat. After watching the dolphins swim and play in the water, we then motored to Cala Mondragó for swimming from the inflatable slide, snorkeling and jumping from the boat. The cost of living in Mallorca is more than living in some other areas of Spain due to higher rental and food costs. Find out about average rental costs as well as utility costs such as electricity and telephone and internet costs. Also learn more about how much I spend on supermarket shopping and how much it costs to eat out in Mallorca. I'll also include the approximate costs of going to the hairdressers plus information on gym membership. For families with children, I outline how much schools are in Mallorca. These costs are completely approximate and vary from school to school. I also talk out healthcare - both state and private. Plus how much it costs to get around Mallorca both by public transport and how much petrol I put in my car. Finally I talk about the cost of living in Majorca in 2022 and how much you need as a minimum live on per month. Of course some people will pay more and some others will pay less. In this video I'll show you what Spring in Cala D'Or, Mallorca (Majorca), Spain is like and what you can expect if you come and visit the area in the coming weeks and months. Cala D'Or is just opening for the 2022 season, so join me on a mini-tour of the main areas in the resort. Starting in Cala Egos, I check out which hotels are opening and what what the resort centre is like. I then move onto Caló des Pou and then onto the Cala D'Or marina, taking in a hidden cove along the way. Cala D'Or Marina was feeling busy, and I check out a couple of restaurants to give you an idea of prices. Onto Cala D'Or, I take a quick look at the hotels by the beach, then head down to one of the prettiest beaches in Mallorca (Majorca), Cala Gran. I also check out Cala D'Or town centre, I check out what lunchtime looks like as well as the main shopping street. Then it´s onto Cala Esmeralda which in my opinion resembled paradise. It was a different story in Cala Ferrera, whilel although it is beautiful, the beach area had an unwanted addition in the form of major building works. Finally, I take you to a Cala Serena which is geographically nearby to Cala Ferrera. However, looking on Google Maps it´s around a 15-20 minute walk or a short drive.
